hey all,
I know it has been a while since my last post. Life has been a little rough for me the past month or so but I am slowly trying to get back into a normal routine and that includes writing. I know that I have people that follow this blog and I can only hope you pull some kind of encouragement from the words you read. I am sorry for being gone so long. I have had a lot of time to think in the last few weeks and I have needed a great deal of encouragement. I have pulled a lot of that encouragement from the quote that I read so I thought I would share some of those quotes here and maybe you will find encouragement through the rough parts of your days...
When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.~ Alexander Graham Bell
One of the most beautiful gifts in the world is the gift of encouragement. When someone encourages you, that person helps you over a threshold you might otherwise never have crossed on your own. ~John O'Donohue
Faith is not belief. Belief is passive. Faith is active~Edith Hamilton
"People who soar are those who refuse to sit back, sigh and wish things would change. They neither complain of their lot nor passively dream of some distant ship coming in. Rather, they visualise in their minds that they are not quitters; they will not allow life's circumstances to push them down and hold them under." ~Charles Swindoll
The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers. ~M. Scott Peck
These are some of the quotes that I have written down in my personal journal and have referred back to a few times in the last few weeks. I hope that they bring encouragement to you. I will be back to write soon.
until next time....peace and love
