"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes"
I have begun to look at my attitude as if it were an important tool that was given to me by God. My attitude can affect the strength of the influence I have on people around me. God send "sandpaper" people into my life everyday and each of those people has the ability to change my attitude only if I let them.A "sandpaper" person is a person God sends to us as a tool to help mold and shape us. "Sandpaper" people come in all shapes and sizes and from all walks of life, but each one of them has a story to tell and a lesson to teach. Sometimes relationships with these types of people can be what we would like to call difficult, but each has a meaning and a purpose.
God sends these people into my path to teach me something. From some I learn patience, others I learn humility. Some people are sent to remind me how important it is to simply smile, others remind me to dream and to never give up on a goal I have set for myself. In order to learn something from these people God sends into my path, I must first learn to open my mind& heart to change. Change always brings new lessons in this journey called life. The quicker we accept it the better.

Its funny how no matter what we do in life, time is constantly ticking, the sun continues to rise and fall, the seasons change, and moments in life become memories of the past. One thing that continues to stick out in my mind from my time spent reading the book "One Month to Live"http://www.onemonthtolive.com/ and from listening to Pastor Kent Williams from the Christian Fellowship Church in Ashburn, VA......Our days here on this earth are numbered. What we do with out time here is important, and our attitude has the ability to change that. We can choose to make our days amazing or miserable and our attitude will decide the turnout. I am learning to change my attitude towards areas such as work, money, and family. Is there an area of your life, that needs a serious attitude change? I challenge you to spend time in prayer and find out what that area is, and do something about it. You will find just like I have that it can relive a lot of stress from your day to day journey.
Until next time.....love and peace

Looking back, I've seen how God has used the sandpaper people in my life to smooth some very "rough edges" off me. I love how you wrote about them teaching patience and humility.
